At work
Dan joined Depledge in 2017 after graduating with a First-Class Honours degree in Mathematics from Durham University and now has several years of experience working in the Financial Planning industry.
Dan uses his technical knowledge and problem solving skills to help a wide range of clients with their Financial Planning requirements. He originally supported our other Financial Planners with calculations, cashflow reports, research, suitability reports, formulating advice for clients and training new members of staff in various roles.
Dan achieved the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in 2021 and in 2022 became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, requiring a Master’s degree level of study and the highest level qualification in Financial Planning. He also became a Chartered Financial Planner in 2024.
At home
Dan enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and wider family. He is a keen golfer and enjoys travelling, attending concerts and follows a number of sports including rugby league, football and Formula 1.
The important stuff
All regulated financial advisers must be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and therefore appear on their register. You can find Dan’s entry here.
Furthermore, all advisers must have an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). This shows they are suitably qualified and have carried out the required amount of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
