At work
Lorraine started her career in retail banking. Following this, she worked for a large insurer and subsequently a variety of independent financial advice firms.
Lorraine has developed her skill set through working in various roles, from administration to technical roles and ultimately, an advisory role.
Key areas Lorraine advises on are retirement planning, Inheritance Tax planning, and financial protection.
Lorraine enjoys working with clients to identify their needs and provide solutions that give them peace of mind and reassurance about their financial future. She takes pleasure in explaining the complex simply, making financial planning accessible and easy to understand.
At home
Lorraine spends her spare time catching up with friends.
She enjoys Pilates and does some gardening and DIY.
When possible, Lorraine likes to travel to new places to relax and explore. Fun fact: Lorraine can’t ride a bicycle!
In the spotlight
The proudest moment of my career was:
Becoming a Fellow of the PFS.
The three things I love most about my job are:
Meeting new people, reassuring clients, and knowing that you’ve improved someone’s circumstances (whether that’s financially or by providing peace of mind).
The types of people I most enjoy working with are:
Clients who need long-term planning support and reassurance, making the complex simple.
