My name is Claire, and I’ve been with Depledge for six years, my adviser is Lorraine Cregg.

I lost my previous financial adviser because she retired, and they handed me over to a new chap, and I didn’t click with him at all, so I set about trying to find a new adviser. The categories that I needed help with were Inheritance Tax, my pension and my savings, so all three things I needed help with from Depledge.

I was looking for a financial adviser who was Chartered, and so I used that very well known search engine and came up with a few local ones and this one appealed to me, so I went with that one.

I really like working with Lorraine. She answers all my queries, however small they are. She replies really quickly and gets me sorted. So if I was getting anxious about anything, it doesn’t last very long, because she sorts it, which is nice. I feel very happy going forward with Depledge. I’ve had a good six years. Everything seems very straightforward, well organised. The back room staff get in touch when necessary. Lorraine sorts things out for me really quickly. So if I was anxious about anything, she sorts it out really quickly. I can just text her and I get an answer within 24 hours, it’s really good.

I think, going forward, they’ll be looking after me for the rest of my life.

Over the years, Depledge have helped me with my savings, ethical savings that I wanted to introduce, they’ve helped me with my pension and making sure I have all my ISAs in place, and they generally just look after me.

The three words I’d use to describe Lorraine are, efficient, professional and friendly. The reason I like working with Depledge is because they’re very efficient. I love their website. It’s very clear and easy to use, and it gives me an oversight very quickly on the state of my finances. Before one of the budgets, I was getting very anxious about what was going to happen, and Lorraine is very good at calming me down and explaining that we just have to wait and see, and then we react accordingly. And she’s always been right.

I would recommend using Depledge because they have a very efficient back office system. The people are very conscientious and professional, and they are a Chartered firm of financial advisers.
