My name’s Steve Richardson. I’ve been a client of Depledge for three years in September, and Daniel Gordon is my financial adviser.

So when I first started speaking to Daniel, I had a couple of things very much in mind. I wanted somebody else to manage the risk for me, and I wanted that risk to be backed up by really good data. I wanted to know that I could have a dialog and that I wasn’t just going to be a statistic and a number in an organisation that would leave me and I would year after year, get different people speaking to me, I wanted consistency. I wanted a strategy for the rest of my days and for my family.

So I found Depledge online after doing some fairly extensive research. I think the thing that stood out for me was their very considered approach, the fact that I felt they focused very much on their credentials and their longevity in the market, and I had the right feeling about them.

I feel reassured to be working with Daniel and the team at Depledge, because I actually feel they’re invested in me properly, we’ve started to build up a relationship and trust, they have been first class.

I feel a lot more confident about my financial future since I’ve switched across to Depledge, because it’s the quality of advice that they can give in the moment and the fact that they’ve got tools in place that I have as part of my package with them that give me confidence that as the market changes, as my personal circumstances change, they can adapt that strategy with me.

I regularly check in with them, and so it gives me great confidence. I feel like, you know, they’re on my team. I feel more confident about my future having switched to Depledge, just because they’ve given me so much reassurance, and I recognised in myself a little knowledge was dangerous. Whilst I had some working knowledge of the markets, my decisions weren’t strong enough, and now I feel that the decisions are stronger with Depledge.

The three words I would use to describe Daniel are, considered, patient and knowledgeable. In the time that I’ve worked with Daniel, some of the best advice he’s given me is I think around timelines and my strategic plans in relation to the types of assets that I’ve got in my portfolio.

Different financial products are there for different reasons, and he understands the breadth of those financial instruments and how they can work best. I feel the advice in relation to my portfolio and the balance of it is really well thought through.

I’ve already recommended Daniel and Depledge because they’ve not put a foot wrong. And coming up to a relationship that’s been formed over nearly the last three years, that’s quite something with a really important part of my life. You know, finances go to the heart of family life. I’m a family man. I want to secure my future, and so you would not give that recommendation to some of your peers without feeling really confident and trusting in Daniel and Depledge. And I do wholeheartedly. They’re a really good firm.
